IOSS Field Staff

In order to minimise overheads, and consequently cost for the client, IOSS has developed a system of engaging additional field staff, as required. This supplements the pool of staff on call in major regions that IOSS operates in. The process involves well developed systems for engaging and training field staff at short notice in various locations around Australia, particularly outside major capital cities.

This system is supported by a quality training, supervision and auditing processes.

All interviewers employed by IOSS undergo specific user intercept interview training prior to field work and are fully supervised once in the field. On-site training is undertaken.

Interviewers are chosen on the basis of personal presentation, oral communication skills, written communication skills, inter-personal skills, qualifications, ability to work independently, enthusiasm, personal motivation, interest in the work being undertaken, education, and comparable/relevant work experience.

All interview results are fully audited by experienced supervisors for accuracy and integrity of data.

All staff comply with the Australian Market and Social Research Society Code of Professional Behaviour.
