4WD use and beach camping have been regulated activities on Flinders Beach for some time. However, a number of concerns had been arising due to dune damage, wildlife destruction and anti-social behaviour during peak use periods.
Redland City Council used the information gathered in this survey to assist in writing a management plan for camping and 4WD access along Flinders Beach, North Stradbroke Island.
